Are you ready for Ultra Music Fest 2016?

JOBURG - It is official, the final lineup for Ultra Music Festival South Africa has been released and you're going to want to know who's on it!

Ultra Music Festival, more commonly known as Ultra, is one of the world’s biggest and most widely anticipated electro-dance music (EDM) festivals.

Last year saw the festival expand into nine countries and five continents, one of which was Africa.

The inaugural Ultra South Africa took place on 15th February in Johannesburg, attracting a total of 40 000 dance music lovers to party with the hottest lineup seen in the country at that time; including Tiësto, Krewella, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Blasterjaxx, Afrojack and more, as well as a host of local names including DJs Fresh and Euphonik, Black Coffee and Goldfish.

This year the weekend-long festival will feature three music stages; namely Main Stage, Soul Candi Live Stage and RESISTANCE Stage.

Keeping it local, ULTRA South Africa will be paying homage to what has been an extraordinary 15 years at the top of house music for the Soul Candi brand.

Ultra goers can expect big-name international artists including Tiësto, Skrillex, Afrojack, Zedd, Galantis and Robin Schultz, among others, along with a number of local names such as Euphonik, DJ Fresh, Timo ODV, Goldfish, Milkshake, Poppy and many more.

Music won’t be the only attraction to the event as organisers have allocated space at the Nasrec Expo Centre for carnival rides and food stalls.

Early Bird tickets for both events sold out within hours of going on sale earlier this year, so fans will have to be quick to guarantee their spot this coming February.

Tickets range from R1 250 to R5 000.

Ultra 2016 is set to be the best rager in South Africa for the year, so EDM lovers better not miss out on this four-date, two-city international music festival.
