Two international headliners for SoundsWild Festival

NEWTOWN – Those attending the epic and highly anticipated SoundsWild in Jozi on 27 November will be delighted to hear that international headliners, Crystal Castles and Flux Pavilion will make an appearance.

The second annual SoundsWild festival will be a show like no other – with a wild night of incredible visuals, DJs who know their business well and live electronic artists wowing the crowds all night long.

Joining the international headliners are the first two local acts to be announced as SoundsWild welcomes PHFAT and Niskerone to the line-up.

“After much thought and planning we are confident that we have created a concept that so many music fans are hungry for in South Africa. We feel often events only cater to one type of electronic music fan, with SoundsWild we aim to bring something for everyone with a diverse range of electronic music on offer,” stated SoundsWild Festival programmer, Darren Bullock.

Crysal Castles have a talent for fusing low-res electronic noise and pop hooks so effortlessly that it can seem accidental. The band is set to release their fourth album in 2016 and it will include a few fantastic singles like Frail and Deicide.

Flux Pavilion made a name himself with plenty of club hits, remixes, and DJ gigs, but it was his 2010 hit, I Can’t Stop, that took his career to another level and there’s no doubt that he has the ability to get the crowd going.
