Clean Bandit comes to South Africa

JOBURG - It's official ... international dance music group, Clean Bandit, will join local electro-house music band, Goldfish, for a not-to-be-missed show this November.

Local radio station 5FM has managed to rope Clean Bandit in to perform a live show at Zoo Lake Sports Club, alongside the much-loved music duo that is Goldfish.

Goldfish plays their Submerged Sundays gigs around the country each week, but this performance is set to be so explosive that this concert has been named Electric Summer – a show that will definitely bring the heat.

Clean Bandit, best known for their songs Real Love and Stronger, broke into the mainstream music scene in 2009, but only broke into the international scene with the release of their smash hit, Rather Be, with singer Jess Glynne.

It was recently announced that Glynne would also join the Electric Summer concert, which was probably due to the fact that the bulk of the smash hits which Clean Bandit are known for were produced in collaboration with the singer.

Glynne, the English vocalist, broke into the scene with overnight fame last year – also with the release of the hit single Rather Be.

The concert is set to take place on 8 November at Zoo Lake Sports Club, where there will be a number of acts performing such as DJ Fresh, phfat, Nick Hamman and many more.

Tickets are available at Webtickets and they’re selling out fast.
