Chivas Regal’s Parties with a Purpose support social upliftment
JOHANNESBURG – Renowned whiskey brand, Chivas Regal, has collaborated with well-known artists to bring the highly-anticipated Party with A Purpose initiative to reality.
The exciting initiative will see three parties hosted in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban featuring the award-winning band, The Muffinz, and Metro FM DJ, Mo Flava.
Mandla Holomisa, brand manager for Chivas South Africa, explained the aim of hosting the parties, set to take place between October and December. “While we are proud that Chivas Regal represents enjoyment, entertainment and elegance, we [also] recognise that… consumers, in general, expect brands to do more than just sell a product; they want brands to uplift and empower, to do things in new and better ways,” he said.
“From the beginning, Chivas Regal has embraced social development; the two founding brothers were committed to using their success to give back and support their communities.”
Holomisa added that, for this reason, the brand would host the parties to support a worthy social cause – the Lumkani Fire Detection company’s initiative to install fire detection devices in informal settlements across the country.
The Johannesburg party will take place on 18 October while the Pretoria leg will take place on 31 October. Tickets are available at Computicket.
