The Knitwits for 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day will host a knit-a-thon and recruitment drive on 21 March at the Imbizo Centre, University of Johannesburg – Soweto Campus from 9am until 3pm.

Celebrate Human Rights day with 67 blankets for Nelson Mandela day at the Wits Art Museum. The Wits Art Museum will host a 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day knit-a-thon on 21 March. The event will take place between 10am and 2pm and is limited to 50 guests.

The Kathrada Foundation’s Youth Leadership Programme will host a session on the topic, SA Human Rights Day, on 21 March, within the context of non-racialism at Museum Africa in Newtown from 9am to 3pm. Young people will be educated about the Sharpeville Massacre and human rights, but will also be asked to share their views on the definitions of racism, prejudice and stereotypes.
