Search is on for Joburg talent
JOBURG - Just-You artist management is calling on all singers, dancers, models and actors to audition for the International Talent Showcase.
The casting agency, based in Rivonia and run by Fourways resident Elsubie de Lange is running the showcase to give young talented South Africans an opportunity to meet international talent scouts from various record labels and production houses in the USA. Artists will also receive opportunities to study abroad at institutions such as the New York Film Academy.
The first of three auditions nationwide will be held at the Just-You offices in Rivonia. All audition hopefuls can share their talent in the hopes of being part of the main event which will take place in October.
In attendance at the main event will be talent scout and agent, Kim Myers, singer/songwirter and America’s Got Talent scout, Nate Butler and managers to the stars, Stone and Tashia Stafford. Myers will specifically be scouting for artists to perform at the Arts Convention in Orlando, Florida in June.
The showcase is not a competition but rather a platform for people to launch an international career.
The Joburg audition will take place on 28 February at 2pm at Just-You’s premises at the corner of 9th and Rivonia Roads, Rivonia Square Centre in Rivonia.
