Afro-pop duo ready to rock Joburg Day
SANDTON - The singing duo, Mafikizolo was launched as one of the acts to take the stage on Joburg Day during a live session in Sandton.
Guests were invited to join radio presenter Anele Mdoda during her afternoon radio show at Primedia Place.
She interviewed the duo Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe, who performed a number of their hit songs and had guests up on their feet dancing to their afro-pop tunes.
Mafikizolo has won a number of awards and have recently been nominated for the Best International Act in Africa at the 2014 Black Entertainment Television ) Awards.
They will be joining a number of other acts for Joburg Day on 14 September at Crocodile Creek, Polo Club in Johannesburg.
