Transformers Age Of Extinction: The best out of the four

JOBURG - A fifth Transformers movie is almost inconceivable after watching the fourth instalment of the Transformers franchise.

In Transformers Age Of Extinction, director Michael Bay has pulled out all the stops and has left no room for the audience to imagine how he can make a better Transformers after this one.

He has already impressed the audience by dropping the overly exaggerated actor Shia Labeouf and bringing in Mark Wahlberg to the action thriller.

This after the government decided to hunt down and destroy all remaining Transformers after the Decepticons ravaged Chicago in the third Transformers film many years ago.

Bay might have dropped Labeouf and his exaggerated acting skills, however, he compensates for it in the unduly embellished new movie plot.

Unfortunately there is just too much going on in this movie and it drags on for more than two hours unnecessarily. Nonetheless, it is an action-packed film with a number of edge-of-your-seat and laugh-out-loud moments.

Autobot: Fan favourite, Bumblebee will feature in the latest Transformers movie.

Bay also throws in a little Bella and Edward romance between actress Nicola Peltz, who plays Wahlberg’s 17-year-old daughter, and actor Jack Reynor, who plays Peltz’s secret boyfriend.

The director makes new and exciting additions to the Autobots versus Decepticons saga. This time, the humans are the biggest enemy when a politician and scientist come together to push the margins of science by creating their own man-made Transformers which are meant to be used as defenders of mankind.

However, the end does not justify the means and once again, Optimus Prime and his Autobots are compelled to come out of hiding to save the day and the humans.
