‘Winners never quit and quitters never win’
Rivonia Primary School, Dainfern College and Redhill School were victorious on the last day of the Montrose Night Challenge.
The Montrose Night Challenge was a fun, sports-filled event where family, friends, and learners from different schools enjoyed the finest skills in different sports.
Netball was one of the sports where learners showed their skills.
some of the schools that participated in the challenge were Redhill School, Rivonia Primary School, Steyn City School, Dainfern College, Curro Aurora Primary School, Reddam House Waterfall and Montrose Primary School.
Mokhosi Makara, the Montrose Primary School head of sports thanked all the schools that participated in the challenge, all the parents, and sponsors that assisted them in making the Montrose Night Challenge a success.
Holly Esterhuizen, open netball coach for Curro Aurora, said it was the first time Curro Aurora entered a team for the Montrose Night Challenge.
“It was a fantastic opportunity to play against some of the top netball schools in the area. The girls managed to draw in two games against Reddam and Crawford Lonehill. The rest of the games were tough but we learned a lot and look forward to coming back next year. Winners never quit and quitters never win.”

1) First place: Rivonia Primary School
2) Second place: Dainfern College
3) Third place: Redhill School
