Coach praises Chaimlos’s performance in friendlies
Sandton Sports Club hosts friendly game between Joburg soccer teams.
Sandton’s Chaimlos soccer team faced off against Randburg’s Saints in a friendly game of football played at the Sandton Sports Club on October 1.
According to Chaimlos coach Khwezi Blose, the team usually plays at Friday leagues – and hosts various teams for friendly matches on Sundays.
“Every Sunday we have social games,” Blose said. “Every Sunday we play against different teams; today we’re playing against Saints from Randburg. They’re based in Randburg.”
Blose has high praise for his team of players, who took a 7–1 lead into the second half of the friendly game.
“They’re doing very well,” said Blose. “I think out of the 10 games we’ve played, we’ve lost only two. So we’re doing very well.”
