The Johannesburg Bowls Association (JBA) seniors from various teams gathered at Morningside country club for the JBA finals on July 4.

Jacqueline Lauder who is chairlady of JBA Ladies Seniors organised the final games.

Jenny Regan, Santie Belios, JBA president Rob Zimmerman, and Yvonne Hippele. The ladies came second in the JBA finals.

According to Lauder, the tournament had been played with bonhomie and there was good bowling. “Yesterday’s final reiterated our approach. HQ Morningside, our caterers, provided us with an excellent lunch which just help us to continue enjoying our amazing final day,” she said.

Rob Zimmerman, the president of JBA, was on hand to present the prizes to the winners.

Carol O’Brien and Bonnie Jephson are excited to be part of the JBA finals.

“Perhaps the best accolade of our tournament is that we have already received requests for new teams to join our next competition,” concluded Lauder.
