Noordwyk Parkrun celebrates one year in style

The Noordwyk Parkrun event directors Amina Saber and Jeanny Tshukudu urge locals to join them every Saturdays for a 5km run, jog or walk- Pets are allowed.

Noordwyk Parkrun turned one this year and celebrated the milestone by doing what they do best – running in the park.
On April 15, parkrun organisers were ecstatic to host another run which saw more than 200 avid runners, young and old, grace the 5km event.

Event co-director Amina Saber thanked the community and volunteers for hosting the parkrun every Saturday at 08:00. “According to parkrun rules, the score allows runners to compare their personal performance with other people’s, even if they are of different ages and gender. Pet owners are welcome to participate with one dog, within reach at all times on a short, hand-held, non-extendable lead,” said Saber.
