ESPN Africa Boxing all geared up for action

New fans of boxing eagerly await to experience a match of a lifetime at the Galleria on September 22.

As the presence of spring finally hits, more and more individuals have finally emerged from their hibernation.

One location which has been catching the attention of a lot of locals in Sandton is the Galleria with its monthly ESPN Africa Boxing matches.

Boxing fans from all over the country flocked to the Galleria for the 21st instalment of the ESPN Africa Boxing event which featured a total of five main cards and two undercards. The majority of the participants were no strangers to the jam-packed action that the fighters offered throughout the entire evening.

“This is our first time at a live boxing match and so far it has been amazing. Seeing boxers with their coaches and trainers close to you feels surreal, I love the whole experience,” said Lebogang Maake.

The function catered to every participant’s need including some of the young guests who enjoyed some good old-fashioned Fifa.

A few prominent figures who attended the boxing event were Priddy Ugly, Big Zulu and Cassper Nyovest. No serious injuries were reported in the vicinity.
