Thousands of women across Joburg are up bright and early this morning, September 4, to participate in this year’s SPAR Women’s Virtual Challenge.
The theme of this year’s challenge is #LiveLimitless, as women are encouraged to get out and run, jog or walk any route, and any distance.
The challenge takes place between 06:00 and 18:00.
South Africa’s lockdown regulations have necessitated that the race be run virtually this year, once again, with large groups of people not permitted in one place. That being said, many running clubs in the area have organised routes for their members to tackle, as part of this year’s challenge.
