Halloween Run a hit at The Country Club Johannesburg Woodmead

Ghouls, skeletons, pumpkins, fairies, Lego people, werewolves and more got together for 2km, 5km and 10km runs at the venue on 28 October.

The community of Woodmead had a blast at The Country Club Johannesburg’s (CCJ) Halloween Run.

Ghouls, skeletons, pumpkins, fairies, Lego people, werewolves and more got together for 2km, 5km and 10km runs at the venue on 28 October.

Goodie bags were distributed so no one went home empty-bellied or without a fright.

Sports manager at CCJ, Claudia Richard described the event as a success with 70 children and 100 adults turning up.

The club will host its Christmas Run on 25 November.

Other upcoming events include the tennis club championships on 14 and 15 November and the squash club championships on 5 and 6 December.
