Arnold Sports Festival Africa kicks off

SANDTON – A week of sports, lifestyle and fitness.

 


The Gauteng Provisional Government launched the Gauteng Night Run which marks the start of this year’s Arnold Sports Festival Africa, at Sandton Sun.

It will be an 8km fun run for everyone on 16 May and will set off at 7.30 pm, starting and ending at Crawford College Sandton. Entries will close on 10 May.

The Arnold Sports Festival hosts multi-sport festivals on six continents each year. All events feature professional bodybuilding and related contests, amateur bodybuilding, strength and combat sports, a large health and fitness expo and youth events that vary from continent to continent.

“The Arnold Classic Worldwide brand is now the largest series of multi-sport festivals in the world and we look forward to making each of our Arnold Classic weekends better than our previous best,” said James J. Lorimer who co-founded the festival with former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The entry fee for the run is R180 per person, with juniors and grandmasters at R100 each. Inclusive in the fee is a shirt and medal for each runner. Entries on www.nightrun.co.za
