Giggs answered some questions from the media about his career as a player and now as the manager of the Wales national team. He discussed how he rated Javier Zanetti as the best player he played against in the Champions League but in the English Premier League, if he was in form, he did not feel like any player could stop him.

Uefa representative, Richard van Poortvliet discussed the intricacies of the video assistant referee (VAR) system that Uefa has incorporated. He also explained that Uefa makes very little money from the Champions League as most of the funding raised from matches goes towards the teams that do well in the tournament, as well as clubs all around the world as ‘solidarity payments’.
