Heineken extends its agreement with UEFA Champions League

JOBURG – UEFA Champions League scores with renewed Heineken sponsorship.

 

The world’s leading international premium beer brand, Heineken, has extended its current agreement with the world’s most prestigious club football competition, UEFA Champions League until 2021.

Marketing manager for Heineken, Themba Ratsibe said, “We are thrilled about the extended agreement. Heineken knows that football it so much more than just the match and we recognise that football is one of the most popular sports in South Africa. As a long-term sponsor of the UEFA Champions League, we are committed to bringing our local football enthusiasts the best experience to enjoy the beautiful game.”

Heineken’s Champion the Match campaign is currently live across the globe and the brand has created engaging fan experiences that go beyond the 90 minutes of the match.

“Our Champion the Match campaign encourages and enables football fans worldwide to overcome all obstcles in order to make their match night legendary,” says Ratsibe.

Heineken will be rewarding its South African fans in the best possible way and up for grabs are a number of exciting prizes with the main prize being an experience of a lifetime with a VVIP, all-expenses paid trip to the match final at Cardiff Stadium on 3 June.
