Bryanston High athletes shine

BRYANSTON – Bryanston High athletes shine in various fields.

 

Bryanston High School is extremely proud of the athletic achievements of its pupils in various sporting codes.

The Bryanston High School cheerleading squad is not only ranked third nationally, but many of the squad members were awarded Gauteng and Samca (South African Majorette and Cheerleading Association) colours.

Kgola Rahube, Shannon Penny, Crystal Murray, Kate Enslin, Jess Muller and Philani Dlamini are awarded their Gauteng colours for cheerleading.

Tristan Hayman received his first Dan black belt in Taekwondo on 12 November last year and aims to compete overseas in the world champs this year.

Rogan Shepherd achieved great results in swimming and has made Bryanston High School very proud. He took part in two swimming championships, one in Pretoria and the other at Ellis Park. He received several trophies and gold, silver and bronze medals, and set another record time for his 100m butterfly race.
