Bryanston High rugby teams end off season with a bang

BRYANSTON – Bryanston High School are proud of their rugby teams whIch won their respective leagues and ended off their season on a high note.

 

Bryanston High School expressed extreme pride in its rugby teams which ended off their respective rugby seasons with league wins at the Pirates Rugby Club.

With impressive performances throughout the season and on the day, the U14 A rugby side were crowned champions of their league with a great 26–12 win over CBC Boksburg.

The U15 A rugby side beat Greenside High School 31–26 to clinch the top spot in their division, while the school’s first rugby team claimed their title with a close encounter in an 8–3 win over CBC Boksburg.

Spokesperson for the school, Lauren Streng said, “Bryanston High School rugby, its coaches and managers, are all extremely pleased with the excellent results achieved over the weekend.

“Our U14 side, in particular, are a team to watch. The team possesses many highly talented young men and Bryanston High School looks forward to many years of good rugby to come from this side.”
