Young soccer stars excel in tournament
MONTROSE - Montrose Primary School U7, U8, U9 and open girl's soccer teams excel in tournament at Wendywood Primary School.
The Montrose Primary School U7, U8, U9 and open girl’s soccer teams took part in the Wendywood Primary School Tournament on 4 June.
Spokesperson for the school, Jono Leaf-Wright said, “Montrose performed really well, winning especially in the U7 and U9 age group categories.
“Head of sport, Mr Mokhosi Makara and principal, Sylvia Buschberger said how proud they were of all the players for the way they played the game of soccer and also the wonderful sportsmanship they showed on and off the field.”
