Equestrian jumps to the semifinals of Miss SA 2016

SANDTON – A Sandton-based equestrian showjumper and SA Idols contestant has now made her mark on the beauty pageant world as she recently made it to the semifinals of the Miss South Africa 2016 competition.

 

Not only is Cara Frew (23) well known in the Kyalami equestrian circles, as she participated in the 2014 World Equestrian Games in France, but she was also a 2013 SA Idols contestant and has worked with the likes of South African DJ Black Coffee and music duo Locnville.

She made the announcement of her participation in the Miss South Africa 2016 contest on her Facebook page and said, “I’m very excited to be in the semifinals for Miss South Africa 2016. Please show support and help me become a finalist.”
