After a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Australia, the Springboks will be looking to bounce back when they take on New Zealand at the Emirates Airline Park, formerly Ellis Park Stadium, on 25 July.

Springbok loose forward Schalk Burger has been named as captain for the all-important Rugby Championship Test. He takes over the reigns from the injured Victor Matfield who was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The Boks lost their first game of the championship in a tightly contested match against the Wallabies as the game ended 24-20. While the All Blacks beat Argentina 39-18 in their tournament opener.

The game is set to kick off at 5pm in front of hostile local Bok supporters.
