Fun-filled interschool netball tournament in Lonehill

Lonehill - CRAWFORD Preparatory School in Lonehill hosted a netball tournament which drew participation from many schools.

 

Crawford Preparatory Lonehill, Bryanston Parallel Medium, Reddam House and Brescia House all played with ambition and passion and made each game a nail-biting success.

The day began with lots of smiley faces and positive attitudes during the fun-filled day of skills development and networking.

The U10 A teams had a wonderful series of games with Bryanston Parallel Medium placing first and Crawford Preparatory Lonehill, second; while Reddam Preparatory placed third.

The U11 A teams enjoyed their tournament with Bryanston Parallel Medium coming in first, Crawford Preparatory Lonehill were runners-up and Brescia Preparatory grabbed third.

The U12 A teams showed good sportsmanship with Bryanston Parallel Medium placing first, Crawford Preparatory Lonehill, second and Brescia Preparatory, third.

The Open A teams results were very close with Bryanston Parallel Medium placing first, Crawford Preparatory Lonehill claiming second spot and Brescia Preparatory holding on to third.

The Open B teams finished their games with Bryanston Parallel Medium placing first, Brescia Preparatory coming second and Reddam, third.

Principal of Crawford Preparatory Lonehill, Dean Marsh said, “Netball at Crawford Preparatory Lonehill is a girls’ sport, but the manner in which the Crawfordian Netball girls played their games [would make] boys… want to take on the sport.”
