Provincial colours for karate kids

Nicholas (10) and Claudia Dobson (12) were selected to represent the Gauteng Karate Federation at the Karate South Africa National Championship on 6 and 7 March. All provinces were represented and the two represented Gauteng.

The championship was held over a period of two days with about 500 participants and four rings. Claudia won bronze for karate combat techniques kata as well as kumite, and Nicholas won his bronze medal for his performance in kata.
