Stampede ready to hit Sandton
SANDTON - The first annual Sandton Stampede Charity Park Challenge will take place at Delta Park in March.
The 10km run, hosted by Round Table Rivonia 230, will include a number of man-made obstacles and can be completed as a solo effort or as part of two relay teams. Proceeds go towards three of the organisation’s beneficiaries: Mother of Peace, Door of Hope and The Miracle Trust.
“This is a great day for the family and we encourage everyone to come and show the competitors their support and also to compete themselves for a number of great causes,” said Gareth Arnold, project convener for Round Table Rivonia 230.
The members of the Round Table group are all actively involved in fundraising initiatives that comprise various fitness and wellness activities including fun runs and cycling races.
