NSPCA sends out festive season message

JOBURG – NSPCA executive director says thank you to loyal supporters.

The executive director of the NSPCA, Marcelle Meredith, sends her festive season’s message to the community.

The end of 2018 is fast approaching and it is with so much gratitude to our supporters that I add my year-end message to this, our final newsletter for the year.

You, as part of a band of dedicated animal lovers, have chosen to show your compassion for animals through the NSPCA. This very kind gesture is truly appreciated. Your donations throughout the year have helped us to reach many animals in need of assistance and to obtain justice for them through the legal system.

Our teams of inspectors have been able to go out into the field in the knowledge that they have the backing of an extended team of champions – our donors and supporters. You really mean so much to us.

The current economic climate, particularly the rising cost of fuel which is central to our work, has brought with it challenges in keeping our inspectors on the road. Your donations have been so meaningful in these difficult times.

Your positive words, in emails to our office and in comments on social media, have also served as wonderful encouragement.

Thank you.

Your support in so many ways is a great vote of confidence in our mission – to prevent cruelty and promote the well-being of all animals. It is the basis of a world you and I, as animal lovers, wish to see.

May you and your families have a joyous end of year celebrations and may 2019 ring in love, happiness and fulfilment for you all.
