Beware of mail fraud

I was advised that shares that I own on the New York Stock Exchange were sold by someone unknown to me in October 2013.

My information on this international account was obtained through correspondence addressed to my mailbox number at the post office in Illovo. This matter was handed over to the police who investigated.

The police have questioned the people responsible for distribution of the mail at the post office who have said that they do not know what happened to my international mail for more than a year. However, since my mail has been directed to a different address, I am now receiving my international mail.

This police’s investigation is still ongoing and my advice to whoever was responsible for selling my mail to criminals is to contact the police as when these criminals are caught – and they will be caught, they will be taken down with them. However, if they were to give the police the information they required, then they would probably receive amnesty for the crime committed.
