The builders of a new supermarket in a shopping centre are dumping their rubble on the council park at the back of the centre on Dundee Road. One wonders how long it will take the land to recover from the beating it is taking from these developers.
Or perhaps council has sold off this public land? Who knows?
Then you have the businesses on Church Street in Johannesburg north who just use the children’s park as a public parking space during school holidays! Who is getting the backhander there? Then there are the neighbours who burn rubbish in the garden with no respect for the house next door.
It reeks of smoke for days afterwards.
Yes, South Africans have become selfish, uncaring slobs because there is no one to keep us in order!
