A new class of women of wonder awarded in Sandton

Panache International continue to award women of the world with recognition for their deeds as Women of Wonder.

The 10th annual Women of Wonder Awards by Panache International returned to the Maslow Hotel in Sandton on September 21.
Thirty women from diverse careers were bestowed with awards for being formidable and inspiring to their peers.

The powerful duo behind the Panache International Women of Wonder Awards, Farzana Mayet and Yaseen Valli.

Emceed by philanthropist and past award recipient Catherine Constantinides, each award recipient received skills development vouchers valued at R1 500, spa vouchers and plaques acknowledging each woman as a Women of Wonder.

Panache International CEO Farzana Mayet reflected on how the awards platform also functioned as a tool for forming a great network of women who could come together.
The chairman of the Women of Wonder Awards, Yaseen Valli, congratulated each recipient for having been selected out of the thousands of nominations received.

“What once started off as a small awards function has, with the right vision and intention, now grown and expanded exponentially to a magnitude of this grand stature where we boast to have recognised some of South Africa’s finest impactful women with these prestigious awards,” Valli concluded.
