Lifetime memories were created on a magical day on the rooftop of Rivonia Central Mall.
The Hong Ning Chinese Aged Home hosted its annual spring festival, which saw people from all walks of life coming together, transcending boundaries of race, age, religion, and beliefs.
According to the TCA executive assistant, Paulette Leong, this annual event was an outstanding success.
“This year’s gathering not only allowed us to embrace traditional Chinese customs but also gave us a chance to show our deep respect and appreciation for the residents of Hong Ning Chinese Aged Home.”
Leong added that the rooftop at Rivonia Central Mall served as the perfect backdrop for the festivities, with outdoor entertainment that transported attendees to an authentic world of celebration and an atmosphere of enchantment.
“From dazzling fashion shows to awe-inspiring kung fu demonstrations, soul-stirring singing, and the solemn dotting of the Lion and Dragon’s eyes to awaken them, the performances left the crowd spellbound.”
She explained that the Hong Ning spring festival would not be complete without the mesmerising traditional dance routines by the Chung Wah Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe, which left everyone in awe.
“It is safe to say that a great time was had by all; the 2023 Hong Ning spring festival was an incredible event.”
