Picketers call for Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to ‘Go home’
Protestors have chosen the BRICS Summit as fuel to their cause to picket against Russia over President Vladimir Putin’s decision to wage war against Ukraine waging between 2014 and the present.
The Ukranian Association of South Africa, Amnesty International South Africa, and the Helen Suzman Foundation hosted a peaceful demonstration calling for an end to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and for the crackdown of anti-war protesters in Russia to stop.
