VOX POP: Locals comment on the BRICS Summit coming to Sandton
BRICS is a grouping of the world economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa formed by the 2010 addition of South Africa to the predecessor, BRIC.

Sandton CBD residents will witness the 15th BRICS Summit, held at the Sandton Convention Centre from August 22-24. The summit is an international relations conference attended by Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, with President Putin participating virtually. Sandton Chronicle asks its residents what they thought BRICS stood for and whether Sandton is ready to host such an event.
