Sandton Police Station celebrates Mother’s Day

Mothers inspire with their endless love and dedication. They sacrifice so much for their children.

Mother’s Day is all about honouring the women who brought you up and helped mould you into the person you are today. A mother’s affection and influence on her child and role in life is undoubted. These were the words of Lieutenant Colonel Anna Davids at the Sandton Police Station Mother’s Day celebration.

According to Sandton police spokesperson, Captain Bheki Xulu, the purpose of the event on May 12 was to celebrate all the police who are mothers. Xulu gifted policewomen with flowers.

“I am doing this to celebrate all the policewomen. This is a small gift, but it means a lot to me, I took my time to do this. I am here to remind you that you are loved and as men, we appreciate your hard work,” said Xulu.

Detective Lieutenant Colonel Emily Tseole welcomed all the policewomen to the event and thanked Xulu and his team for the beautiful event they hosted.
