Meet the new Sandton Chronicle intern

This budding journalism intern is excited to work for the readers at the Sandton Chronicle.

New intern at Sandton Chronicle, Asemahle Cwayela writes:

I always knew that I was meant to be a Journalist from a young age, this is the life that I was meant to live. My dream started in high school when I was in Grade 8. I used to spend most of my time researching and writing for prepared speeches.

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) gave me an opportunity of a lifetime. I wanted to focus mostly in sports but TUT introduced me to different streams within the journalism industry. I got to learn more about print journalism, multimedia journalism, broadcast journalism and also political studies.

I do not regret the decision I made. I’ve always wanted to tell people stories in a way that will make them to understand and care about, and that is through writing.

I am hoping to bring change in the surrounding areas of the Sandton Chronicle, I want to update and inform people about what is going on in their communities on daily basis.
