Young author of Animal Adventures set to reach greater heights

Waiting for the perfect age to start something big or to follow your dreams has become a thing of the past. Following the success of young Taylor Mae Ankiah’s book which recently got published with the help of her mother and Amazon Kindle, it is evident that age does not resist one from living out their dreams.

Taylor (8) started her journey as a writer by doing it as a hobby at an early age.

“My love for stationary made me discover my passion for drawing and writing. When my mother takes me to PNA, I get really excited to choose my new pens, markers, and even coloured paper. I started getting creative ideas by just putting pen to paper,” said Taylor.

Her book, Animal Adventures landed her in the spotlight of recognition from publishing companies, peers, and young readers from all over the world. Taylor’s book which she illustrated focuses on the different characteristics in the animal world as depicted through her imagination.

Karen Ankiah, her mother, shared that her daughter’s career has made her proud, “Her drawings and writings always astonish me, and I love being surprised by what she does.”

Currently enrolled at Crawford International School, Taylor stated that most of her friends who purchased her book could not even wait to start reading it.

“I am currently writing my second book and I can’t wait to share it. My plan for the future is to further my studies at university and to make inspiring YouTube videos. Follow your dreams and never let anyone stop you,” concluded Taylor.
