The Sandton SPCA extends a heartfelt thank you to the community for its continued support in 2022.
According to general manager Meg Wilson, the community has come through for the local organisation a number of times, making it possible for it to do its job.
“It has not been an easy year, with many challenges confronting us in the sphere of animal welfare – we simply would not have been able to get through it without our incredible supporters.”
She added that one of the group’s most memorable moments from this year was when it surpassed its Spaytember campaign goal.

“Our proudest achievement this year was sterilising 1101 animals in the month of September – changing the lives of animals and their humans drastically.”
The team hopes to reach more animals in need in the year ahead.
“We wish the Sandton Chronicle readers an incredibly blessed 2023,” Wilson concluded.
