Sandton City is bringing all the joy this holiday with its very own Festive City, filled with everything that Christmas dreams are made of.
Local personalities and media recently enjoyed all the festivities at the shopping mall’s centre court.
This included a number of brand immersions with Lego play-zones and The Little Generosity Shop by Cadbury Dairy Milk. Santa Claus was also available for the perfect photo opportunity.
According to Sandton City general manager Preston Gaddy, the festivities will be available to shoppers until December 27.
“[At The Little Generosity Shop] you can donate toys to children in need, enjoy a reading corner, get Cadbury’s branded gift wrapping and do exclusive shopping in a generous chocolate world filled with treats,” said Sandton City general manager Preston Gaddy.
On level six outside Woolworths, fan-favourite brand Chuckles has a Life’s a Ball activation where visitors can purchase their personalised gifts.

In the Protea court, shoppers can also enjoy a magical eight-metre-high hot air balloon decorated with dozens of plush toys.
In aid of Reach for a Dream, shoppers can make a memorable difference in the life of a child living with a critical illness by making a donation. Both the money and the plush toy will be given to a non-profit organisation.
Looking to get your gifts wrapped all while supporting a community organisation? The Sandton SPCA has a number of wrapping stations.
“Every year, we look forward to elevating the festive season, and this year, we’re pulling out all the stops to ensure that visitors to Sandton City have the world at their fingertips.
“We can’t wait to welcome shoppers to the Festive City this holiday where there are wonderful memories waiting to be made,” said Gaddy.
