Security guard from Hyde Park Desmond Khumbuza aims to inspire readers with the release of his second book, There’s a Light at the End of the Tunnel.

Local security officer turned author Desmond Khumbuza is proud to finally share his second book, There’s a Light at the End of the Tunnel, with the community.

This follows the success of his first book, aimed at motivating and inspiring the community to persevere through life and overcome their challenges.

According to Khumbuza, finishing his second book was a proud moment as he achieved his goal of making others see the positives in life.

“I have developed useful skills for life, and I have embarked on a journey of self-discovery.

“I have gained confidence in my abilities as a writer, creating positive changes. It feels so good to have my second book available, it’s like a dream come true, a mission accomplished.”

There’s a Light at the End of the Tunnel is a motivational book.

He added that he is excited to share this next book with the community, especially because his first book God Loves Orphans was such as success.

Khumbuza hopes that with this next book, he is able to not only motivate more people to read but also inspire them to take on life’s challenges and continue to grow.

“Reading is good for you because it improves your focus, memory, empathy, and communication skills. It can reduce stress, improve your mental health, and help you live longer.

“When you give joy to other people, you get more joy in return. You should give a good thought to happiness that you can give out.”
