Forest Farm Centre bookshop in Bryanston reopens

Buy a book and support the Forest Farm Centre for Cerebral Palsied Adults in Bryanston.

Did you know that the Forest Farm Centre for Cerebral Palsied Adults has a bookshop?

The bookshop, located at the centre in Bryanston, has hundreds of titles across a variety of genres available at bargain prices. The best part, all of the funds raised go back to the centre to assist the residents at the care facility.

According to volunteer Lorraine Tebbutt, while the bookshop has been operating for a number of years, support dwindled as a result of Covid-19 and the pandemic.

“[The support] is picking up once again; we have done about three month of sales now [since reopening] and each time it picks up more. We just want to get the word out to more members of the community.”

Book lovers can shop anything from collectables, non-fiction, fiction, children’s books and so many more.

“We are finally open again and able to sell many beautiful books, all to fund the home.”
