“These events have a positive effect on the mental and well-being of the residents. The anticipation and the event lifted the spirits of the residents. This year was the liveliest event we’ve had. It was heart-warming to see the field filled with gazebos and everyone surrounded by their loved ones,” said the executive director of the centre, Peter Lombard.

Resident of the Forest Farm Centre Wendall Symallon celebrates family braai day in style.

Besides the family visit and food, residents were entertained by live performances by Andri van Heerden and Aka A3 who got everyone dancing and singing throughout the whole day.
