Joburg Pride makes a bright return to Sandton
Johannesburg Pride makes its highly anticipated return to Sandton Central.
The highly anticipated 33rd Johannesburg Pride Parade and Celebration is making its return to Sandton Central.
Parts of Rivonia Road will be blocked off and decorated with bright colours and bright smiles as the community celebrates advocacy, activism and equality on October 29.

βWeβre expecting thousands of LGBTQ+ members to unite again this year in self-acceptance and legal rights.
βThe event has secured support from Gauteng Province, Sandton City Mall, Sandton Central, Mercedes-Benz, EY, Pride Insure, Flight Centre, BCG and several other prominent corporates in the business district,β said the organiser’s Pride of Africa.

The march, set to begin at 14:00, will include live performances from MsParty, DJ Skye, Atlanta, King B, DJ Imme and Tamara Dey.
The event is free to enter.
