VOX POPS: Who benefits from the work done by the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation?

Participating guests were asked what they know about the work done by the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation, and who benefits

Beneficiaries of the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and its partners speak on how the foundation has helped them. Here is what each had to say.

Shaun Maunatlala: They made life very easy by taking a load off from my parents. They gave me opportunities that I never thought were available. Through the foundation, I learned that there are always endless opportunities… Now, I’m an aircraft engineer at Safair.
Tshepo Lepote: I’m a beneficiary myself, and a banker now. I’m from Soweto, coming from a different environment altogether where opportunities were scarce. With them [foundation] coming on board, and assisting one with realising their dreams, it has been incredible.
Zintle Ramano: I’ve been a beneficiary of Black Umbrellas since 2023. They’ve created an enterprise and supplier development incubator programme for entrepreneurs. They’ve equipped me with a business coach and we got a chance to pitch to potential investors.
