Why not adopt a furry friend from Sandton SPCA?

The Sandton SPCA invites community members to adopt companions this winter to warm their homes.

Sylvester is an adult, male, domestic shorthair.
Cody is a male, two-year-old cross-breed.

The adoption process includes a home inspection to ensure that potential pet owners have a home conducive to animals. Interested animal lovers will be expected to cover the cost of adoption fees, vaccinations, deworming, and sterilisation.

Talbi is a 10-month-old male boerboel-cross.
Stacey is a seven-month-old female German shepherd.

There are a few things to keep in mind when looking to adopt a pet from the Sandton SCPA:

Cassie is a female, two-year-old shepherd cross-breed.

People looking to adopt pets have to meet their desired pet in person. You will be required to complete and submit a booking form and pay a non-refundable deposit of R200. Proof of residence, copy of ID, and permission letter from adopting persons’ estate where relevant are also required.

Popi is a five-year-old male domestic shorthair.
Nikki is a 10-month-old female cross-breed.

Pet owners must bring their existing dog(s) in for a meet and greet with the pet they want to adopt. A pre-adoption home inspection will be performed and an adoption fee of R800 will be required from person(s) adopting upon pet collection.

Cheddar is a male, eight-week-old domestic shorthair.
