Brescia House School hosts star-studded comedy event

The event at Bryanston was more than just an evening of entertainment; it was a celebration of creativity, resilience, and the power of laughter.

The Brescia House School Parent Teacher Association (PTA), in collaboration with Goliath & Goliath, proudly hosted an extraordinary fundraising comedy event recently.

Featuring a stellar line-up of South Africa’s top talent, including Jason Goliath, Costa, Vafa Naraghi, Chris Forrest, and their esteemed host Nicholas Goliath, this unique gathering brought together the Brescia House School community for an unforgettable evening of laughter, learning, and inspiration.

Jason Goliath, renowned for his larger-than-life personality and quick wit, expressed his excitement about participating in the event.

“Comedy is not just about making people laugh; it is about connecting with them on a deeper level. Being part of this event at Brescia House School allowed us to share our passion and hopefully inspire the next generation of performers.”

Gaby Sithole, the chairman of the PTA at Brescia House School, spoke about the success of the event and said, “We are thrilled to have hosted such an incredible event. The experiences shared by the amazing lineup of comedians were invaluable.”

Sithole added that their community thoroughly enjoyed the evening filled with laughter and the opportunity to be entertained by such talented individuals.

Comments from the audience on the evening included: “This was an amazing event, my best night out in ages, and I laughed so much, I was worried I might injure myself.”
