Basa is coming to Sandton to share his success story and give out tips on becoming a successful entrepreneur, this month at the TEDx talk. TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share conversations about economic, commercial, religious, or political agendas.
Hailing from humble beginnings, Basa has not only carved a niche for himself but has become a symbol of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.
His journey from modest origins to becoming a distinguished serial entrepreneur and acclaimed property investor is nothing short of remarkable.
He said that he dived into the world of business at the tender age of 20. One of Basa’s early ventures was becoming a prominent provider of online educational content, catering to major corporations such as MTN.
“In October 2020, amidst the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, I ventured into property investment. Despite facing personal adversity, including a harrowing battle with Covid-19 and subsequent pneumonia, my tenacity prevailed.”
He added after enduring a critical hospitalisation period where he confronted the brink of mortality, he emerged with renewed vigour and an unwavering commitment to his goals.
“With an indomitable spirit, I rapidly expanded my property portfolio, encompassing seven Airbnb properties and a 12-bed student accommodation facility.”
Basa said he was driven by a profound passion for entrepreneurship and a commitment to empowering others.
“I am dedicated to crafting a life of abundance while fostering generational wealth for my family. My future endeavours encompass a spectrum of ventures, including speaking engagements, property development initiatives, and strategic investments in promising enterprises.”
He concluded by highlighting that he thrives on collaboration and actively seeks mutually beneficial partnerships with like-minded individuals.
“As I continue to navigate the dynamic landscape of entrepreneurship, I remain steadfast in my pursuit of excellence, innovation, and impactful contributions to the global business community.”
