St David’s Marist Inanda School embraces innovation and creativity as driving forces behind its artistic endeavours.
Whether experimenting with new theatrical techniques, incorporating multimedia elements into their performances, or exploring avant-garde musical compositions, their learners are encouraged to push the boundaries of traditional artistic expression.
The school proudly started its Soil to Soul show event on April 3. The two-and-a-half hours left attendees in awe because of how good the acts were.
Jaco Ferreira, the director of cultural affairs at the school, said the show celebrated the beauty of the artistic journey that helps the learners progress from the fulfilment of their most basic needs to the achievement of their highest ideals.
“Soil to Soul is also an opportunity for our learners to make their very best happen, not only on the stage but with every step they take on their life journeys.”
He added they have invited St. Teresa’s School to join them in the performances.
“It’s a celebration of talent, commitment, and the transformative power of expression, as we shine the spotlight on this integral aspect of our school community.”
