NOTICE: Road closures tonight due to the J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge
The affected areas are Melrose, Birdhaven, Melrose North, Melrose Estate and Melrose Arch.
The 19th edition of the J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge returns on March 14.
J.P Morgan Corporate Challenge alerts residents of road closures in the area.
“Road users and the public are alerted to temporary road restrictions for the upcoming J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Johannesburg taking place on Thursday, March 14 at 18:30 through the suburbs of Melrose and Birdhaven. The restrictions have been approved by the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department to ensure the safety of the participants as well as to create minimal traffic disruptions in the areas.”
The temporary road restrictions are put in place to prevent participants from parking and obscuring the running route and inconveniencing residents, and to prevent the participants from driving through Melrose, Birdhaven, Melrose North, Melrose Estate and Melrose Arch to The Wanderers Club.
