City Power cuts Bryanston Sports Club’s electricity supply

Spokesperson for City Power, Isaac Mangena, said that Bryanston Sports Club owes the entity R2.3 million.

City Power has been issuing penalties to various residential complexes and business establishments all over Johannesburg on February 10.

“As part of our aggressive revenue collection drive, City Power paid a visit to several businesses and residential areas during an operation in Randburg,” said City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena.

The operation continued in Bryanston where the entity disconnected Bryanston Sports Club’s power supply around 11:30.

According to the Mangena, the establishment owes the entity R2.3 million. “We encourage customers who are in arrears to approach our service delivery centres across all regions so that arrangements can be made as we regard these operations as the last resort,” concluded Mangena.
