Members of Bryanston Sports Club had an early Christmas celebration on December 3 with the children of Kids Haven.
Every participant in attendance of the event came with their festive season spirit including the children of Kids Haven. The event which started from 10:00 had everything to offer from jumping castles, ice cream to a meeting and greet with the one and only Santa Claus.
“This is an annual event for the club. This year we had about 40 children from both the Bryanston Sports Club and from Kids Haven joining us. Something we love to do which is giving back to our community. A total of 18 children from the organisation come today and they were excited to see Father Christmas,” said the chairman of social at the Bryanston Sports Club, Ian Snowball.
During the celebration, the children not only had the opportunity to speak with the big man from the North Pole, but also received presents.
“The kids were happy; they enjoyed the event. We thought that they wouldn’t behave, but they were in their best behaviour. They played games that they haven’t before and interacted with the members of the club which was nice to witness. My highlight was seeing them eating ice cream and getting their presents,” said one of the representatives from Kids Haven, Fikile Mtshli.
